Happy Valley has changed the branding of its jars on all the jars of its UMF certified manuka honey. But the contents remain as delicious as ever!
Less Familiar Brand
Happy Valley is one of the less well known brands of manuka honey – although this is undeserved. The company was founded in 1975 is now run by two families from headquarters in a rural town not far from Auckland in New Zealand’s North Island, and the company has eyes on expanding its brand around the world.
Certified UMF Manuka Honey
Happy Valley is a member of the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association (UMFHA) and the company’s range of manuka honeys carry the well-known UMF label. The label and organization are based on academic research on the properties and chemical markers of genuine manuka honey. The UMF label therefore gives consumers confidence that the honey has been tested and is genuine manuka honey.
Full Range of Manuka Honey
Happy Valley produces a full range of manuka honey in terms of UMF strengths, including 5+, 10+, 15+ and a really strong 20+. The honey is sourced from bee hives located the length and breadth of New Zealand, and the hives are typically in very remote areas to ensure the purity of the honey. The resulting product is simply delicious and interested consumers can read a more in-depth Review of Happy Valley Active Manuka 5+.
