Description
Medihoney Derma Cream is designed for people with eczema, dermatitis or dry skin and it contains 30% Medihoney antibacterial medical honey (a medical grade manuka honey).
Medihoney Derma Cream is made by Comvita, one of the largest producers of manuka honey both for everyday consumption and medical grade manuka honey for a range of medical and skin care products, including Medihoney Derma Cream. The manuka honey used in medical and skin care products also comes from Comvita’s own hives but the extraction process is different.
The minimum antibacterial level of the manuka honey used for medical grade honey by Comvita is UMF 12+. The honey is also sterilized, but this does not affect the antibacterial activity of the honey. Comvita’s medical grade manuka honey is used in a variety of medical wound care products throughout the world.
Medihoney Derma Cream also helps the skin retain moisture and keeps a healthy skin pH level. Remember to read the instructions before using it.
