Steens UMF 10+ Raw Manuka Honey can be traced back to its origins and the land that it came from with the company’s unique hive tracking system. Steens was also the first company to start paying landowners to put manuka honey beehives on farmers’ land.
As a member of the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association (UMF HA), Steens UMF 10+Raw Manuka Honey carries the UMF trademark. This means the honey has been tested to prove its authenticity and the level of its the naturally occurring compounds that must be there for it to be classed as genuine manuka, e.g. methylglyoxal (MGO level 263+).
The UMF testing regime includes testing in line with the latest research for Leptosperin – a substance that only occurs in genuine manuka honey.
This delicious Steens raw manuka honey was extracted using some of the most modern extraction technology available to ensure that every last drop of goodness is transferred from the hive to the jar.
This means that the manuka honey is not pasteurized and that it may contain microscopic particles of other goodness such as pollen or bee bread.
