Medi-Bee is the grocery brand of manuka honey produced by Comvita, one of the world’s largest manuka honey producers and an international health products company from New Zealand.
More and more people have heard about manuka honey, and there is an ever increasing amount of research data that researching the claims made about the honey. Manuka honey is a totally natural product and is made by bees that feed off nectar from the flower of the manuka tree, which grows abundantly in the untouched and remote bush and forest landscape of New Zealand.
Medi-Bee UMF 5+ Manuka Honey is a certified honey and is licensed to use the Unique Manuka Factor label, which indicates that the honey has been tested by an independent laboratory to confirm the presence of certain naturally occurring chemical markers that give manuka honey its special attributes.

Medi-Bee UMF honey also came out well in an independent test of manuka honeys conducted by the UK’s trade magazine The Grocer in which Medi-Bee manuka honey came out as the only honey to pass the test because of its level of purity.
This Medi-Bee UMF 5+ Active Manuka Honey has a relatively low UMF rating but the range of Medi-Bee active manuka honeys has other UMF ratings. It is recommended that children younger than one do not eat honey.
